Get to Know a Horse

Introduce your kid(s) to horses at Grand Valley Horse Rescue.

Each hour-long session includes hands-on experience with:

  • Horse safety

  • Grooming a horse

  • Leading a horse

  • Ground skills

  • Horse needs

  • Horse equipment

  • Sitting properly on a horse

For ages 2 and up

Book a Session

This unique and educational experience is just $30 for a limited time.  Your child will be able to interact and learn about horses in a safe and controlled environment.  Not only will this experience help foster love and appreciation for animals and nature, but it will also teach important lessons about responsibility and care. Give your child a fun and memorable way to spend time outdoors and away from the screens!
